Long family road trip 2013: day 2

The kids were up early today, riding bikes around the campground and playing more silly games in arcade. Michael went in search of coffee while I played mills Bourne  with Parker. Then we packed up the car for our longest drive of the trip...mt Shasta to Portland.  About 364 miles.

Michael and I listened to Kevin Pollak badly interview Michael c hall while the kids watched a Mario bros DVD I picked up the night before at rite aid. It sounded terrible but they loved it.

We stopped once at myrtle creek for some Dairy Queen lunch and playing at the local park.

We were all tired from the drive so after a dip in the pool decided on local sushi dinner and some survivor rather than driving downtown for some sightseeing.  Elizabeth took this picture walking back from sushi.

Tomorrow we sight-see and visit some old high school friends for dinner.
