Baseball evals
I'm planning to coach Parker's little league next spring, so I volunteered to help at the evaluation this Saturday. This being Piedmont, the whole thing was highly organized and well done, even despite having 60 7-8 year-olds running around. I took a group of 15 of them through four different evaluation stations, where they caught flies, caught grounded, hit pitches, and ran the bases. Parker was squarely in the middle of the pack the whole way, except for running, where he was tied for fastest. He is always asserting that he's the fastest in his class, so perhaps it's really true. Should be a fun season.
