Sulpher Creek Party

Our friends Juliana and Sophia turned 4 this weekend and we went to their party at Sulpher Creek, which is a small nature center in Hayward. They have animals that have been injured like foxes, coyotes, eagles, rabbits, and all manner of birds, lizards, snakes, etc. I was the only one who had ever been there as I used to take birds that people left at the animal shelter there.

After a bit of free time to wander around and look at the animals, they saw a puppet show about a egg that was stressed out that he only became a caterpillar instead of a butterfly. Then they got to hold/pet a rabbit and a chinchilla. Then they did an art project making hand puppet animals. Then more play and cake. The kids really loved it and didnt't to leave.
