More Idaho
Michael already blogged about our visit to Twin Falls Idaho, but it is worthy of two blogs, so here you go.
After driving about 7 hours from Reno, we got to Twin Falls Idaho, a basic shit hole town with McDonalds every block and motels a plenty. The KOA where we were staying was small, hot and without the amenities I have gotten used to at KOAs. But it had a pool so that was really all we needed. Plus our "lodge" was air conditioned, which helped a lot.
We were there for two nights so on day two, we took off to see Twin Falls, the actual falls. They were spectacular. Rainbows and everything. Then we went a short 5 minute drive away to a lake which was also spectacular. Platform, diving board, play area, concessions, cliff jumping, nice water, not too crowded. Amazing. Everyone had the most perfect day there and we agreed, nothing in Yellowstone could compete.
