3 kids, two cats, and one mom
Today is my third day with all three kids (we pulled Parker out of day care last week). The first day was beyond awful because Parker was sick (had a fever) and I since I didn't realize it for a while, I thought he was just being a little trouble maker. I felt so bad when I figured it out (while we were at the zoo) and he immediately fell asleep when we got home. Since he only slept 40 minutes and then needed to be held, Michael had to actually come home a bit early to help out.
Yesterday was better. We played, tried on hats, hung out with Zeke and read books in the morning. But all three kids are extremely cranky after the afternoon nap. Yesterday, they all woke up at the same time which made it challenging in the least. Parker was crying which got Elizabeth going, which kept Parker going. When they were both ok, Miranda started up. After everyone quieted down and relaxed, we went to the park. Elizabeth likes to eat sand, I discovered. By the handfulls. Yum.
Today seems to be a bit better. (Maybe because I have new containment methodology.)
Elizabeth seems to be a bit clingy. This is my general view of her these days.
Otherwise, everyone is playing well. Miranda discovered the toy area. Even Noe made a rare appearance. And Parker played is with his calculator making un, deux, and trois (yes, he can now count to 20 in French.)
Parker also demonstrated this new thing he does where he says, "Do the Queen" and then holds one hand up in the air. I have no idea where he learned that from. It's just odd.
If everyone continues to feel well, we are going to all head to a twin mom group thing. That should be interesting.
