Eli had to get some toys.

Puppet Shows

We got out the puppet show that Michael got Parker for his birthday. Parker was more interested in crawling through the stage to the other side, but Peter and Oliver did a couple shows for us.

The Cousins

The Marcuses arrived today for a visit, including Cousin Julia, who is ridiculously cute.

Elizabeth was obviously pleased to have someone new to pal around with.

However, since Julia can crawl and Elizabeth cannot, the palling around happens at Julia's discretion.

Parker is in heaven with Peter and Oliver here. (Or "Oviler" as he is called.) In their honor, we switched up the bedtime routine, and instead of Mommy reading books to Parker, Peter read everyone Trashy Town.

And then Parker read everyone Chicka Chicka 123.

Daddy's Home!

Daddy's return in the evening is a big event around our house. Parker always jumps about and smiles a lot. Today, he ran over to him and gave him a big hug. The gals, however, didn't notice, as they were otherwise occupied.

More Biscuits

Whoops!

Arms up!

A discovery

Both Miranda and Elizabeth have found the famous latch that Parker used to spend hours playing with. Parker rushed over to help out. I'm sure someone's finger will get smashed soon.

Sad Elizabeth

More advanced...

Name that twin.

Dinosaurs and Marble Games

Lety gave us these great towel/robes for Christmas this past year. One is a dinosaur and one is a dog. Parker has been adamant that he will not wear them. In fact, getting him to use a regular towel is a struggle. But today, after seeing mommy in her robe, he asked to wear one. So here he is.

Another twin toddler day

It's Tuesday. Which means twin and toddler day. Today we had 5 moms (one expecting her third), 1 neice, 10 babies ranging from 10 weeks to 10 months, and 3 siblings.

Jessie and the gals were first to arrive. When others showed up, we went outside since it was a lovely day.

Some of the kids started getting cranky, so moms started feeding babes all around.

The big kids were playing well most of the day.

And my personal favorite, Beck needed to sit on top of Miranda. Miranda didn't seem to mind. My girls crashed early just after everyone got there. But since they slept for 2 hours, I'm not complaining.

'nuff said

Bite Your Neck

Michael does this thing with Parker where he says, "Hey, come here, I need to tell you something..." and then he bites his neck, tickling him as he goes. Parker loves it and sometimes even requests "bite your neck". This is how it looks. The soundtrack is Parker giggling with glee.

Crawling backwards

The girls still can't crawl, either one of them. They know how to do all the individual movements, but neither of them have had the inspiration to try them all at once, no matter how much we coax them. The best they can do is scooch backwards, which usually has them disappearing under the futon. Here's Miranda reveling in one of her travel adventures.

Helicopter at the Park

Parker and I went to a park in Berkeley this morning. The park is famous for having a giant cement slide built into the hillside. Kids zoom down it on cardboard. We did that a few times, but found the goober with his remote control helicopter more interesting. This family was visiting from Santa Cruz and Parker joined them for the viewing.
