Yuck...meta blogging.

After Peter gave me some sass about the blog (saying "That sure IS interesting, Rachel" after watching me type out a blog), Amy decided to join him. She read the blog, which she hadn't done in days (as she has limited access to computer room where babies are sleeping). Then she went upstairs for a while. When she came back down, she said, "Any new blogs???" Then she said that we, Eran and I looked ridiculous sitting at the table with our computers, and took a picture. I told her meta blogs were frowned against, but decided to make an exception this once.

Frog, Pencil, Calculator, and Cat

The Marcuses went trick or treating tonight and Parker and Aunt Lori joined them. They all looked pretty damn cute in their costumes. I was going to go out after Amy came back, but apparently Parker was "done" by then so he just came in to enjoy his lolly pop.

Two's a Crowd

Miranda was out of sorts today. She was clingy and sad and crying a lot. She just wanted to sit on my lap and therefore spent a lot of time there. Eli seemed in a good mood most of the day, but started to get a little jealous and needed some lap time too.

The wet playground

After the parade, Amy and I took the girls and Parker to a playground next to Peter's school. All the slides were really wet and Amy wiped them down with various pieces of clothing. Then the girls had a blast, as did Parker. Amy realized the challenges of managing multiple babies on the stairs and slide but we walked away without any major injuries and only a limited amount of crying.

Happii Harouiin

We went to Peter's school today for their annual Halloween Parade. Peter was, as you can see, a calculator. He goes to a Japanese immersion elementary school. It was terribly cute. Torikku O Toriito!

Too friggin' cute.

Pumpkin Carving

After naps today, we did some pumpkin carving. Most of the kids had no interest in it at all as you can see from all the other activities going on. The babies liked to eat the pumpkin insides.

babies and dogs

The girls are going to be in the BAD RAP Kids and Pits Calendar this year.

Here is one of the shots. It took a long time to get it. 2 dogs and 2 babies does not an easy photo shoot make.

Kidspace

Mom and I went to Kidspace today. It's a children's museum in Pasadena. It was quite a place, but a bit too overwhelming for my little ones. They enjoyed it for a bit, but by the time we left, all three had melted down crying for one reason or another.

They had indoor areas, climbing things, baby areas, and a great outdoor area with tricycles, water play areas, grass mazes and other climbing things. Parker and Miranda really enjoyed the water. Elizabeth had already melted down and was hanging with mom at that point.
