Miranda Says

Miranda: I'm very, very different from Elizabeth and Parker.
Me: Why?
Miranda: Because I liked mashed potatos and they don't.
Miranda: Also I like chocolate but Elizabeth doesn't.
Parker: But I do!
Miranda: But I like animals and they don't.
Miranda: Do you like schoolmates Parker.
Parker: Yes.
Miranda: Oh. I guess that isn't one.


Me: Miranda did you hear the tooth fairy came last night for Elizabeth?
Miranda: Yes.  I know. I saw her.
Me: You did?
Miranda: Well...I was sleeping and I heard some tip toeing so I slowly opened my eyes and took a peek at her.  All I saw was a shiny dress.
Michael: Was she pretty?
Miranda: I don't know. I only saw her dress.  Oh, and I saw she had dark skin.  But her hands were kinda camouflaged by the darkness.

(Michael and I appreciated that Miranda has a multi-cultural imagination.
