Alter Egos

As previously discussed, Parker has assigned the whole family alter egos, based on a series of books about gosslings. The books feature five different gosslings, which have been mapped to the members of our family: Gossie, Gertie, Booboo, Peedie, and Ollie. I'm Peedie.

A couple of weeks ago he assigned an alter ego to Zeke, our cat, deciding that his name should be Onnie. There's no Onnie in any of our books, so this is Parker's own invention, which I think is pretty cool.

This was the state of our extended gossling family for several weeks, until this weekend when Parker apparently decided that Ted and Lion should have gossling names as well, so they've become Eenie and Feenie, respectively.

If you need a mneumonic device, just remember that Feenie is Lion, who is a feline. I don't think that went into Parker's thinking, however.
