Houston we have contact!

Well...today Eli did it. She pooped in the potty. Not a half poop that started in her pants. A legitimate big whole poop that she put right in the toilet all by herself.

She was standing in the hall after lunch with a strange look on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she just kept staring at me. I noticed a strange way she was standing so I asked her if she needed to poop and she burst out in tears. I told her to hold on and I took her to the bathroom. She was nervous about letting it go and held onto me for dear life, but she did it. She seemed more shocked that happy or proud, but I think this might be the turning point for her. After saying good bye to it and letting Miranda flush it down the toilet, she said, "Wash hands?" and then did.
