Miranda doesn't listen.

The kids and I went on a walk around the block today. Miranda pushed a stroller the whole time despite Eli and Parker wanting it. When we were about 3 houses from our house, I turned around and there was Elizabeth on a ledge walking along like a balance beam. I said, Oh NO! Get down! And she did. Miranda took this as her cue to climb up. So she did with the stroller. I said Get Down. Miranda thought this was hilarious and started pushing the stroller along the grass on the other side of the ledge laughing the whole time. I went up to her to get her down and took the stroller away and gave it to Elizabeth. This pissed off Miranda to no end. I told her she needed to do a better job listening and following instructions. She stared at me pouting and repeating "stroller!". I repeated what I had said, That when I told her to get down, she needed to get down. So she looked at me and said, "Down?" I said, Yes, Down. So Miranda turned around and ran to the exact place on the wall where Elizabeth climbed down and climbed up and then climbed right back down. Then she turned to me and said smiling, "Stroller!"

Smart girl.
