Party Time

The party was a success. With the help of Amy and a fancy french bakery down the street, we had a nice spread of brunchy foods and fun filled backyard. I think at one count there were 20 kids and just a few less adults. Short of a few head bonks and a bee sting, there were no problems and everyone had fun. The little ones liked the cup cake decorating and Lincoln really liked the spin art machine. The adults liked the fancy cakes and of course the jumpy houses were used all day long. The kids are back jumping in it now with Amy (who did a flip in it) while we wait for them to pick it up.

The adults got fancy cake while the kids decorated their own cupcakes and then ate them. Or if they were Eli, licked the frosting off and the refrosted it.

The coffee station.

Scones, muffins, fruit, etc.

Spin art. Better for 6 year olds and their parents.

I got two bouncy houses this time. One regular and one slide.

The kids liked to climb up the slide instead.

Bubble machine was going at one point.

Isaac and Owen snack.

Julia and Fletcher hung out at the trains most of the day.

Craig and daughter Sydney played inside too.

Eli was sad for a moment. Overwhelmed with the party, I guess.

Julia decided to nap on the kitchen floor.

The cupcake table. Allison, Fiona, Beck and Eli loved it.

Allison fell in love with sprinkles.

Fiona was happy about the frosting.

Fletcher snacked on fruit.

Beatriz (from Parker's preschool) and Miranda enjoy cupcakes.

CAKES!

Sheehan drove down for the event. Sans kids.

Singing happy birthday.

She tried to blow out the candle, but Bauer had to help her.

Yum!

Juliana likes sprinkles too. Or is it Sophia?

Isaac and Owen's turn at the cupcakes.

Parker didn't notice the cupcakes at first, but was happy when he did.

Julia and Parker decorate.

Lincoln flies down the slide.

Parker follows.

Shari came a bit late due to baby issues, but AJ was in good spirits when he woke up.

Dear Longs, thank you for another wondeful party. We had a blast! My kids got so excited when we pulled up in front of your house, they knew they were in for a good time.
