Sharing the Wealth
Parker started getting an allowance a while ago. He earns $1 for doing nothing and another $1 if he takes out the newspaper recycling once a week. This was at his request since he said "he didn't want to bug me for more stuff...he just wanted to buy it on his own with his money."
So far he's bought some angry birds, a couple candy bars, an ice cream, and something else I can't remember.
Tonight he said that he had enough money to buy another angry bird, the new and coveted green bird. I asked him if he was sure he wanted another bird since he had so many and he said that this one was not for him. He was buying it for Aidan because Aidan really, really, really wanted the green bird. Then Parker wrote Aidan a letter explaining how he bought it for him and how much money it was and how happy he was. I double checked that he really wanted to spend all that money on a bird for someone else and he said Yes, he did.
It was all very sweet.

I still can't get over this..and now Aidan wants to buy Parker a Bey Blade. Does Parker even play with his?
Aidan knows about Bey Blades from Parker. But Parker doesn't play with them anymore. It was a sequoia recess thing. Not happening in Piedmont. If he really wants to buy him something, have him get him a handball (you know four square ball). That is what he is into now... Or he can just wait until his bday. I think it's sweet they are thinking of each other. :)
