Lark in the park

Rachel is away on a spa weekend with a girlfriend, so this morning the kids and I set off to run some errands and go to the park. Since our errands took us to San Leandro, it made sense to go to the swanky Castro Valley park, and since it was 10:30 or so, it made sense to start with a snack and some portraiture.





Properly fortified, the kids all played on the spider web thingy.




After some time on the zipper slide for Parker, we all played on the swings. I tried to get a good picture with all three of them in the frame, but that proved too much of a challenge so I settled for a couple of lousy pictures.




Parker and Miranda went on to play on some other structures.



But Elizabeth was feeling the call of naptime, so she stuck with the swing.



However, she did rally for one turn on the horse, before we packed up and headed home.
