Something from nothing.

When I woke up today, I had no plans. Which is quite unusual for me. Our twin mom coop was cancelled because Susan's kid had a fever. And with Ebba feeling under the weather as well, I was left to my own devices.

No plans turned into lots of activities...fast. We first went to Tumble and Tea where we were the ONLY people there. Everyone had a great time. Parker pushed around a shopping cart filled with plastic toy fruit and vegies. He pretended to eat brocoli and celery. Miranda discovered the climbing structure and, on her own, went up and down the slide about 20 times. Each time I thought she would fall on her head, but each time she navigated the contraption perfectly. Elizabeth spent the time walking back and forth. I think walking is her favorite thing now.

Then we went to a park, where essentially the same activities happened...minus the shopping cart.

Then home for lunch and naps.

Then we went to the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley. They not only have a new tot area where the girls went crazy running around barefoot, but they had a Music Exhibit which allowed Parker to bang on lots of percussion instruments. He threw a fit when we had to leave. I definitely have to take him back there some Friday.

Alas, no pictures from today.
