Jessie's Growing Family

My twin mom friend Jessie had her third child this past week. He was essentially a miracle baby since they were told the liklihood of getting pregnant on their own was almost nill and since she was breastfeeding the twins when he was conceived, it's even more unusual.

But, there he came, on October 10th after a long nine months and 10 days. Luc's older sisters Beck and Bauer don't even know what they are in for. And I suppose, neither does Luc.

I went to visit them yesterday, bearing gifts of cake for adults, cupcakes for kids, toys for the girls, old hand me down parker clothes for Luc and a book about dealing with toddlers for Jessie. She looked fabulous. Luc was a bit tan (not good for babies) so we spent some time in the sun. It was nice to see the whole family and nice for me to realize I never ever have to be pregnant or give birth again.
