More Lawrence Hall
We returned to the Lawrence Hall of Science today with Ebba and her kids. There were about 300 kids there when we arrived so I guess it was Field Trip day or something. Since our Twin Aria is truly now falling apart, I took the duo glider that Rachel B gave me a while back. It was great. I put Elizabeth in front since I knew she was torture Miranda from behind. With the exception of Miranda pulling Elizabeth's hair when she was napping, they didn't bug each other at all. And the sun shades are great.
Parker and Miranda played on the giant DNA out front for a bit and then we all headed inside.
We stuck to the toddler area at first since babies needed bottles and a place to run around. The whole time Parker kept saying, Mommy, I want to press the balls. I had no idea what he was talking about since there were no balls in any exhibit where he could press balls. I kept asking me to show him me where the balls where. But he just kept asking for them. Finally, he led me around to the side of an exhibit and said, They are here. But nothing was there. But...about 8 months ago, there was a free standing exhibit there that had balls that were propelled with water when you pressed this thing. Ah ha! So I told him that was went bye bye and he seemed satisfied with that. I was stunned he remembered that.
Parker spent much of the time inside, not surprisingly, looking at books. Miranda and Elizabeth liked to carry around the balls. Lincoln seemed to enjoy the ball maze as well as the movie making spinning thing.
When Lincoln was sufficiently bored, we went to the music exhibit which everyone, including Ebba, enjoyed. Then outside for lunch and water play.
Miranda got hold of the camera at one point and took some interesting shots.
And then Parker wanted in on that action.
