Me: I heard you had a hard time last night. Lots of screaming and yelling in the middle of the night.

Elizabeth: I had a nightmare!

Miranda: I had a nightmare about SOCKS!

Me: Socks? What was scary about socks?

Miranda: No, mom, I said SOCKS!

Me: Huh?

Miranda: Not SOCKS, SHARKS!

Me: Oh. That makes more sense.
