Room Swap

Yesterday, Michael and I changed rooms with the kids. Our room is bigger, but as he had tried and failed so spectacularly about a year and a half ago to do this, we had been putting it off. We decided it was time and at 8:30am got cracking on moving everything from our room to theirs and vice versa. The bunk bed was easy but time consuming to take everything apart and then put it all back together again upstairs. The new loft bed we got Miranda (to free up space on the floor for toys) was also a giant pain the ass to assemble. It was all worth it when Miranda kept saying repeatedly "I love my bed! I love my bed!" She was soooooo happy! The kids immediately started playing with the toys that we stashed under the bed. The move took us all day, but the kids were thrilled with it and slept well all night. Quite a change from a year and a half ago...







We found lots of stuff that had been tucked away in closets and under beds during the move. Elizabeth found this delightful outfit.
