TPS: Singing

They say math and music go hand in hand, but I don't think this is what they meant...

Today Parker was singing, "2 x 2 = 4, 4 x 4 = 16, 6 x 6 = 36" and so on in a very sing song-y voice.

And in related news, he got a haircut today and got a trader joes candy bar as a treat afterward (this was the first time he hasn't had any issues during the haircut). I told him he could have 1/4 of it and he immediately told me that was 3 (of 12) squares. Didn't even think about it at all. I started to explain the word fraction to him and how it related to multiplication and division, but he just wanted to eat his chocolate.
