Lake Anza

On Parker and mommy Friday, I took him to Lake Anza in Tilden Park. He loved it! The water wasn't actually warm, but it wasn't too bad. We ran into twin + 1 mom Siobhan and her kids Christopher, Aidan (5) and Lauren (3), so Parker got to play with some other kids.






It was so good, Michael and I took the kids back on Saturday in the morning. The lake doesn't officially open until 11am, but were able to play a bit in the water and hang out much earlier. Everyone, even Miranda who isn't thrilled with non bath water loved it. It was pretty frickin' idyllic with a family of ducks sleeping and playing just feet away. It reminded me of pictures I remember of my family doing such things when I was that age.
