Look Ma, No Training Wheels

Ever since Eli got on Parker's old bike, she has been asking to have her training wheels taken off. We sort of ignored her at first thinking that this was just another example of her wanting to be like Parker. But when she started riding his old bike so well and braking with skids, we figured we should give it a shot.

It went exactly how I anticipated. That girl has less patience than I do. She is very agile and athletic, but gets easily frustrated. So when she couldn't do it immediately this morning, she got very upset and wanted her training wheels back on. My guess is that if she had a bit more patience, she would be able to ride without training wheels before she is 3. But, as it is, she may ride with training wheels until she can ride with a blind fold and her hands tied behind her back.
