Yesterday, Miranda said:

"Mommy, I would like to climb a tree, get a little bird and have him sit in my hand."

It was so out of the blue (at breakfast) and so sweet and seemingly so deep that I was quite touched. I said, "Oh, Miranda, that would be nice wouldn't?"

Then Elizabeth said, "That is what Kipper did on the TV show!"

Ah well...
