A nice ride.

I took Parker on a "real" bike ride today. We went down to a small path along the bay. I was on roller blades. I thought about running, but wasn't sure how fast he was going to go. We started in Emeryville and started out towards Berkeley. He appeared a little nervous, but kept on pedaling. After a while he said he was tired and ready to go back, but I told him we needed to make it to the bridge (on University Avenue). Parker said, "That is like 10 miles!" But we kept on going and he made it no problem. We turned around and went back. After the ride, we drove it to see how long it was and it was 1 mile each way. That boy rode 2 miles straight! Impressive!
