Saturday

I woke up feeling sick...feverish, achy, etc. So Michael let me sleep in and did a good job of keeping the kids quiet. Then we puttered around the house trying to open and deal with some boxes that had been in the living room for two weeks. Then we took the kids to a playdate. We dropped them all off and headed to SF to a furniture store to look at living room sets. I got quickly overwhelmed so we left and had breakfast instead. Then we picked up the kids, took them home for lunch, and then back out again to the Piedmont community pool. It's a membership only place, but once a week, any Piedmont resident can go. They have three pools and there were only two other families there. The kids had a blast. After a quick stop for ice cream, we went back home and enjoyed some chips and guacamole while the kids goofed off in the backyard. Then I took a nap. When I woke up Michael had fed the kids dinner and was bouncing them in the trampoline. Now he is reading to them upstairs.
