Hypocrite?
The girls told some lies today so I said, "Don't lie." (Elizabeth was playing with scissors and pens and left them both out. She said, "Nope, I didn't do it." Then Miranda said she didn't have breakfast this morning when she had. Later they both admitted to the lies.)
They asked what lying was so I gave them a lecture on lying. Which is difficult when the definition of 'the truth' is unknown as well. We talked about it for a while.
Then we had to take the girls to school. On the way, Miranda said, very concerned, that we didn't call the doctor to tell her about her poop*. So I made a fake phone call to Dr. Cunningham to discuss the situation. Miranda was satisfied.
So much for not lying.
*Miranda walked into the bathroom on her own today, pooped and then asked to wipe herself. No crying. No stress. No pain. No problem.
