I think we've entered a new era.

I got home from the gym today a 7am (after just under 2 hours of lots of running) and the three kids were sitting in the living room nicely playing with the kapla blocks. Michael was still upstairs in bed. They seemed sort of surprised to see me.

I said to Michael later...boy, you are really living the good life sleeping until 7. He replied, "I was awake up there," as if somehow that made it worse. My response: "But you were in bed right?" He conceded with a smile on his face.
