More Swim Class

So I'm sitting up in the observation area with another mom watching our kids take swim class today. It's the part of the class where they jump in and swim back to the wall, which means about 2 feet. Parker does it first, then Lucas and then the other kid (the strangely old one). Then, before the third kid is done, Parker is back standing up and dives in again without anyone noticing (or at least it seems like that from up where we were.) Both Laeticia and I gasped and held our breath. Still neither of the instructors (there were 2 because the main one is leaving so they were training another) seemed to notice. Parker doesn't turn around, but starts swimming to the platform about 20 feet away. I'm freaking out and feel like I'm about to witness a disaster. But Parker keeps swimming, taking one breath half way through and makes it to the platform. The teachers noticed when he was about 5 feet from the platform, which was essentially too late if there was actually a problem. Which there wasn't except for in the observation area where I was having a heart attack.

Parker then repeated this 4 or 5 more times, with the instructors noticing, and made it to the platform on his own each time.

Amazing!
