We are so very screwed.

After spending all day re-arranging furniture, re-organizing closets and generally doing unpleasant things while at the same time trying to keep everyone from killing each other, we think we made a huge mistake.

All the kids are together in the upstairs room. We tried this about a year ago resulting in total disaster and no sleep for anyone. We thought Parker might be old enough to deal with it now and the girls would like sleeping with him.

After a new bedtime routine of reading to everyone, they are essentially refusing to go to sleep. They just keep laughing and getting out of bed to go bug Parker who is exhausted.

We have no idea what to do as our usual threats aren't doing the trick.

I asked Parker if he wanted to go sleep downstairs in our bed and he said "No, I need to check on Elizabeth and Miranda."
