Monkey Hear, Monkey Say

Elizabeth loves to help me unload the dishwasher. She takes each item out one at a time and hands them to me. Doesn't matter if it is small plastic cups or big glass bowls, she can do it. And since unloading the bottom shelf of the dishwasher is particularly hard on my never quite recovered from carrying and nursing two babies, I'm always appreciative of her help.

This morning, when she was sitting on the floor looking at a book, I asked her to help me unload the dishwasher. She looked at me and said,

"I'm busy, mommy."
